Welcome to the world of Little Otter, created by KJ MacAlister with illustrations from Stephanie Simpson.
There are now two books in our series, Little Otter Becomes a Potter (2023) and our latest book, Little Otter: Ugh! A Mess! (2024).
The Little Otter series is for kids aged 4-8 and parents who love to read to their children. Our books are designed to inspire and educate – we believe that reading is the key to unlocking a world of learning and imagination.

Little Otter Books was founded by clay lovers Stephanie and KJ. Our project is an ode to mentor and community builder, Elli Grassmuck, providing imaginative and engaging stories for the entire family to enjoy.
